  1. He is. But a number 9 isn't. Which is... a pickle.
  2. They were arguably a few Ollie Watkins glaring misses away from beating Arsenal.
  3. Proper tonking incoming, alas. They’ll win by a three goal margin.
  4. Don’t be silly. There’s a difference between knowing a player’s stats and seeing how they respond to your instructions. There are also egos to manage and relationships to build. Hate the board all you like but let’s give Cooper a chance FFS.
  5. Yeah, it’s ****ing exhausting.
  6. How very FoxesTalk
  7. Unless the excuse is that a brand new manager is still learning his senior squad.
  8. Does anyone know what Bob Faesen thinks?
  9. He played for 20 mins FFS. What is wrong with this place?! 😂
  10. I don’t think anyone is happy with it. But when it comes to on the field stuff, I think most are able to recognise that neither the manager nor new signings can be judged on two games. Yes, yesterday was shit. But there were many misplaced passes and other individual errors from usually ok players. And, yes, I’d be very disappointed if Ricky P was frozen out. But let’s give the poor guy more than two games before the massive pile-on starts.
  11. I think he’s going to be very good for us. Comfortable in possession, will give Winks an outlet. Will hopefully reduce the blind lumping forward we saw yesterday because we couldn’t pass through our midfield.
  12. What a bunch of babies on this thread 😂
  13. Oh shut up 😂 It was a dreadful performance but it’s been two games. Chill out.
  14. I thought we looked better with Skipp on the pitch. Better in transition from defence to mid.
  15. I’ve got a horrible feeling about this game… it’s optimism. And whenever I feel optimistic about a game we end up being dreadful.
  16. You remind me of that Catherine Tate sketch. “Dirty, dirty bastards”
  17. I read the Sky Sports summary of their match last night and KDH was mentioned repeatedly as being the bright spark in Chelsea's side. I read their forum this morning to see if they agreed and saw the same comment as you. Looks like they're equally miserable and 'minds made up' as FoxesTalk, which is some going.
  18. It does sound like Brexit's poster boy. It's just the very basics of respect to and use someone's name correctly. Does my head in when paid commentators and pundits have so little respect that they continue to blindly mispronounce names even when everyone else in the ****ing studio get it right. De Gea and Gundogan being the two most obvious examples of this. Everyone else: Gundowan Merse: GUNDO-GAN
  19. I reckon Rudkin will offer the BBC £12m for Jermaine Jenas today.
  20. He’s managed us for one game. In which we did ok once he’d addressed his error with initial setup. And now you’re speculating. Steady on 😂
  21. I reckon I’ll have a cup of tea in the living room.
  22. Well put. This echoes my thoughts too. Not exciting, but very useful to have off the bench when under the cosh.
  23. I’d usually agree, but feel pretty confident in this one.
  24. I think Cooper's post-match comments about games being decided on squads, not starting 11s, might explain why we're adding journeymen forwards who can progress with the ball to the team. Having players like BDCR and Ayew to bring on for the last 15-20 can offer outlets when under pressure.
  25. Traore's total inability to deliver an end product is the best at combating Traore
