The co-commentator yesterday named Rudkin as part of the problem, so it’s good to see the media continue to understand how rotten we are at the top.
-
Of course. He’s infinitely better than anyone else we’ll be lumped with.
-
I expect him to be in charge in the Championship. Top’s all giddy at his star playing career.

Why are our fans the way they are?

It’s not. That’s the reality. We just like to moan on here. -

I got given some tickets in the Chelsea home seats last weekend. Right near the Leicester fans. The Chelsea fans surrounding me were silent. Barely celebrated. The Leicester fans were loud throughout. I was really impressed. Brilliant support - especially under the circumstances. Sometimes it’s a matter of perspective. Even when we’re quiet and I’m sat in the expensive seats at the KP, there’s still plenty of singing. Not exactly the yellow wall, but a **** load better than the Chelsea fans. Same when I’ve sat in the Arsenal and Spurs ends against us too. -
If Top / King Power shut us down tomorrow ……

Tonbridge Angels -
Just been given two free tickets in the Chelsea end. Wasn't able to gratefully decline for fear of being rude. What a dreadful day out this will be

Bit weird when it’s all based on supposition. Clearly there are significant long-term issues which he’s overseen, but the guy is between a rock and a hard place. The club was so important to his dad, so selling up isn’t an easy decision for him to make, and he’s clearly not deliberately ****ing things up.

I'm also available for corporate motivational speeches.

Oh what's the point. Just give Brentford the 3 points.

There’s a sense of optimism in the air. Even Jones Knows is predicting a win. Insipid defeat incoming, then.

Bobby De Cordova-Reid joins permanently - Official

Yeah, that's all fair. And I'm normally quite defensive when our players are criticised. I just think Mav is probably a bit of a luxury in our current setup, whereas BDCR offers a bit more well-roundedness. -

I think his big problem is consistency. As you say, at times he looked great. But he was also anonymous in many games. So was Fatawu, but he was 20 - learning his trade. -

Yeah, he's a significantly better option than Mavvers who, if we're being honest, was a bit shit in the Championship too. -
Also Kent. Tonbridge. I’d get the train from Ebbsfleet to St Pancras but they’re so £££ that I usually drive.

That's because Soumare isn't a bad footballer.

Exactly this. The only anger should be reserved for the board, not for the players or Ruud. I feel for Top. He never wanted this, but I’m sure it would feel like an unforgivable betrayal of his dad’s memory if he sold up. The only answer is him finding better people to run the club.

This is the truth of it. They’re all doing their best. They’re just not good enough. But stranger things have happened than survival. Not many, mind.

Where’s Okoli? I’ve got more faith in him than Faes. Is he injured?

Usual positivity on here. Ignore the starting line up. Moan about the subs bench 🤦♂️

Oh come on. There’s no other option - that’s not on Ruud. -

Yeah. Unfortunately he’s not quite Prem standard. But with better left backs behind him he’ll carry more threat and might be good enough to keep us up.
