Recommended Posts

Hello Guys,

I'm in my final year of University studying Sport Business Management. I'm currently doing some research into fans brand loyalty towards their club shirt sponsors in the Barclays Premier League.

It literally takes one minute to complete and Ill appreciate your help so much.

Thank you guys and good luck for the rest of the season!

Done. Consider revising apostrophes though, especially if you're at university.

If I'm ever in Bangkok airport, King Power duty free shop is definitely the only duty free shop I'll use.

Think it's a bit different with us though, since the shirt sponsors are the owners business, so it's more supporting our owners than supporting the sponsor of the shirt, if we were still sponsored by Walkers it wouldn't stop me picking up a pack of McCoys, for example.

I don't understand the free products question.

I've never bought anything from King Power duty free in Bangkok, but I've definitely had Walkers crisps and used to have an A&L account!!

Tops Tiles lol.

Likewise, I found that question incomprehensible (Q.15, I think) - and it's pretty hard to buy King Power products, even if you wanted to, unless you go to Thailand.

You have to control for the fact that not all shirt sponsors are selling retail products accessible to fans. Otherwise you will get some very misleading results, e.g.

Leicester - King Power is only available in Thailand

Liverpool - Standard Chartered is not a retail bank in the UK, only in Asia and Africa

Spurs - AIA is an Insurance company that operates in Asia, and even then typically sells only non-retail insurance products

Perhaps you should only survey the clubs that have gambling companies as their sponsors, then at least you have a more level playing field to begin with.
