Speedie first to my mind, didn't particularly like when he was here either, horrible little man.

Jermain Beckford. Mainly for his arrogance and his Leeds connection. The amount of joy he gave Leeds fans for that goal against Man Utd. The only reason I then liked him, was because it annoyed all of my mates that we'd signed him, albeit from Everton.

I was 14 years old and he ruined my first ever Wembley trip. It was bad enough losing that and then Tommy Wright but about a year later I genuinely believed Little had lost the plot signing him.  A couple of his goals were special and we'd have never have made it to Wembley the 3rd time without him.

 

Didn't rate - Ormondroyd

 

Didn't rate him at all before he came and there were days when he was totally hopeless, Crouch without any skill, but he stuck at it and won a lot of people over

I had never rated him at Forest, just thought he was a lumbering liability, maybe that was blue-tinted specs, but replacing £5M Lee Mills with 650K Wes is probably the smartest bit of business ever. I'm not convinced he's Captain material, too quiet, but he has been a rock in so many games

Dean Sturridge. Just because he seemed the epitome of Derby, and I seem to recall him scoring against us several times.

Quality player for us, hardworking and moved on at least a season too soon...

Not Leicester but I remember seeing Suarez had signed for Liverpool, I had watched Eredvise highlights quite a bit that season for some reason and remember him having about 8-10 good chances a game and barely ever converting them. Reminded me of Fryatt in league one for us. He turned out to be pretty decent for them in the end.

 

I suppose I was underwhelmed by GTF as he looks like a 45 year old builder, turns out he's a decent footballer, though not good enough for us now.
