For me I'd say Nugent Konchesky Morgan Huth I saw Nugent as a bit of a lazy journeyman and a mercenary, but he's won me over now with his work rate, and willingness to adapt his game to suit our needs. Koncheskey I thought was overrated and prone to being a bit thuggish. He's worked hard to prolong his career here though and isn't really dirty. Huth perhaps the same, has been professional so far. Morgan I thought was worse than what we had and very sluggish but he's worked hard on his conditioning and has been better than I imagined.

Didn't like Jermaine Beckford before he signed and liked him even less after he signed. Same goes for DJ Campbell. Sorry I know neither of those are things you asked - Steve Howard is maybe one I didn't like when we signed actually - thought he'd be a cumbersome oaf and he turned out to be slightly more than that and always played with his heart on his sleeve.

Corky Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 Thought Nugent was overrated and not prolific enough, just another mediocre second tier player. Proved me wrong in the last three seasons. Wasn't a huge fan of Morgan but soon saw he was the defender we needed at Championship level. Didn't like Dean Sturridge for some reason either but he won me over.
