Goodness me, foxes trust... But I couldn't read past the 6th or 7th paragraph... That's the biggest self congratulatory article I have ever read...

"This was mainly due to the one of working party which formed the Trust, Raj Cheema, knowing the administrator as a work contact."

not what you know but who you know..

Isnt that the point?  They were lucky, you shouldn't have to be lucky, hence the new rules they are proposing.

Good article, but too many pop-ups spoilt the reading.

Apparently the Foxes Trust contains members that don't like other people outside the group that want to join it and help out.

We were not lucky, many supporters trusts have people within their membership with the skills that may be needed at a point in time, particularly when clubs are in crisis and trust membership is boosted.

The new Football League rules have been introduced (not just a proposal) so it is good news for every trust whose club faces administration

It's a petty people like Cliff Ginetta are on the Trust; trying to get a kind conversation going with him without him going stroppy is much of a struggle.

That is not true, any City fan can join the Trust and if they feel they can contribute a skill or a time commitment contact any of the board members listed on the website and let them know.

We would welcome if more members stood for election, we have them on an annual basis, as a third of the board retire and offer themselves for re-election (its part of our constitution)

Cliff runs the Official Supporters Club which is a separate organisation.

However the fans organisations are not in competition and each have their own focus, so for example we don't run away coaches (altho many Trusts do) or organise end of season awards.

We believe in having good relationships with the other organisations, which is why Union FS are attending our next board meeting, as we build that link
