Gerard Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Modern managers play a limited role in recruitment. How much did NP know about Mahrez before he was signed? There are people at the club whose sole role is recruitment, I'd imagine they identify targets and then run it through NP but his input will be minimal.

nettle Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Walsh would pick out the players then they are scouted then refers it back to Rudkin to be signed. Pearson would have input into it obviously but would trust Walshie to get the right players in.
