Have you ever seen a thin bloke wearing an NFL jersey?We've had the 'Grammar Fascists' , now we have the 'Fashion Fascists'!1. The shirts are comfortable, especially in hot climates. I went on a guided walking trip with a guide across Iceland once. He had previously walked in jungles and across the Arctic. When getting our kit ready for the trip, he recommended football shirts for their comfort, their 'breathability' and the fact they dry quick when sweaty/wet. 2. They are a conversation starter. On my last holiday, an Arsenal fan sparked up a conversation with me about how I thought the season might go. He thought we had played well at the Emirates and deserved something out the game. 3. Why at 54 should I give a **** about what other people think with regards what I wear. 4. Yes I am a fat bast**d, so the XXXL are very comfortable.

I fully explained why I wear the City shirts, not good enough for you? Oh here goes. I also wear England shirts, what will you make of that? If people want to wear the shirt what does it matter, the OP asked where had people seen them on hols.
