FoxinNotts Posted 2 September 2015 Posted 2 September 2015 Our team B would do ok in the prem, I'd hope! Wouldn't swap too many of them for Sunderland, Norwich, Watford, Bournmouth, Villa etc second string players, for instance.
Corky Posted 2 September 2015 Posted 2 September 2015 Our squad vis a vis the squad this time last season is vastly superior IMO. However, it ain't all about that. Now it's time to make them all gel, get the strongest team and see what we can really do. And many other squads have strengthened too. Overall, I'm much more optimistic this time round than I was last season. As it should be. We've had a year in the Premier League, our survival was well documented, we have a higher profile manager- it's all far more attractive than an unknown, newly promoted side.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 2 September 2015 Posted 2 September 2015 Very happy at the way we have recruited, and getting in Dyer, at a late stage was a very shrewd move, as well as surprising.
Countryfox Posted 2 September 2015 Posted 2 September 2015 Now it's all about finding the right team and the right formation and how they gel together .... But we have options aplenty and some real quality .... Exciting stuff !
weller54 Posted 14 September 2015 Author Posted 14 September 2015 Ranieri 's substitutions are turning matches, in complete contrast to Pearson's baffling changes during games last season (apart from the last 9 of course)..... Ranieri however has quite a different bench to choose from Compared with this time last year, so is it because he is more tactically astute or just he has the luxury of a much more talented bench?

Indeed... Pearson looked at the bench and saw Hammond, GTF and Chris Wood. Ranieri seems Kante, Dyer, Ulloa.
