LanguedocFox Posted 13 November 2015 Posted 13 November 2015 Dreadful news: should never happen to such a young guy. He really could have been a City legend if we had got him. I remember being seriously p1ssed off when we didn't sign him on a permanent deal - thought we were too mean and Sunderland (who had Craig Gordon in goal at the time) were too greedy. If we had kept him, we might not have gone down to the third tier. RIP Marton. So very sad.
Raj Posted 13 November 2015 Posted 13 November 2015 He was brilliant for us,we wanted to sign him didn't we? Tragic ..didn't realise he was still that young
Fox92 Posted 13 November 2015 Posted 13 November 2015 Our best goalkeeper during that dreadful season. Really rated him. 32 is so so young, RIP.
Tuna Posted 13 November 2015 Posted 13 November 2015 Fulop...now there was a goalkeeper. I saw him play against Watford. We won 4-1 I think, tall, agile and with a monster kick on him. He looked every inch a goalkeeper we could build a team around. Always hoped he'd return one day.
