samlcfc1 Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Always remember the eyebrow raising moment he signed for man city on loan
EGBFitness Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Gobsmacked! Great keeper for us, seriously cannot believe it. RIP
ozvaldo Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 I thought he was our best player during his loan spell. RIP.
Jaspa Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Very good player was Floppy, liked his style and one of the few quality players in a poor 3-4 years, always wanted him back after the loan. Thought he'd be older than that by now, regards to his family and friends if anyone skips through to see what was though. Some club out there is missing him now.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Was a very solid keeper for us, terrible news, no age at all.
Buzzell Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Probably the first keeper that I liked since following us, far too soon. Same Wook's. My favorite player at that time. Wish we signed him permanently after his loan deal.
Craig Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Gutted about this. Genuinely one of the only only players that could come away with any credit during our worst ever season. RIP.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Very sad news. Condolences to the family and friends of him. I recall that he was good while he was here, RIP Fulop.
Thracian Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Insidious disease - a murderous abomination which is a disgrace to the concept of spiritual belief in anything. RIP and thanks for the memories.
bluesbrothers Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Insidious disease - a murderous abomination which is a disgrace to the concept of spiritual belief in anything. Yet religion thrives unchecked. I'll never understand people. RIP and thanks for the memories. Not the place.
FantasticMrFuchs Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 The best player we never went on to sign. Outstanding during his time here. Gutted R.I.P
Guy Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 As others have said, a stand out player for half of what was an extremely turbulent season for the club. Who knows, had he stayed on loan to us beyond December (2007), then we might well have still retained our Championship status back then and with it the rarefied one of never having dropped into anything below the top two tiers in English football....but sadly it wasn't to be. Then again all good things happened to our club thereafter the League One winning season, from which we've rarely looked back from since. RIP Marton Fulop x
Fox 4 Life Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 RIP Marton, saddened by this news, such a young age. Was a bright light for us and always had a smile on his face.
TJB-fox Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Genuinely devastated about this, was definitely my favourite player during his spell. So so so sad
Matt Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Shocking! Was a shining light in pretty shite times at this club, a great keeper! Shame Keane was a twat about the situation. 32 is no age. RIP.
Ozwin Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 This is awful news. The man was immense for us and I remember being truly truly gutted that they wouldn't let us have him. Football pails into insignificance at times like this though, shows how short life can be. Wish his family all the best. RIP.
WinslowFox Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 I can only echo the sentiments already made, very very sad news, my deepest condolences are with his friends and family, Thank You Marton and may you RIP
dayday Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 So sad, he was brilliant for us,. Was it Roy Keane who stopped him coming to us permanently?
big stodge Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Really sad news. Didn't do a lot wrong when he was here. Condolences to the family. RIP Marton.
