lgfualol Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 32 is too young, way too young. Cancer is the worst. RIP
kingfox Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Very good in his loan spell with us. RIP Marton
AKCJ Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 My cousin would have been about 7 when he played for us, she called him Flip Flop and was her favourite player by a distance. She even had a goalie kit with flip flop on the back. This is awful news and my condolences go to the Fulop family. He was a bright light in a dark time for City fans.
Dan Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Completely out of the blue to me. That's shocking news. RIP.
Nod.E Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Genuinely gobsmacked.Must be the first City player to have passed away who represented us since I took an interest in football. As many have already mentioned, he was fantastic for us. Comfortably our best player during the time I spent the most time watching the City. Was gutted when we didn't sign him and even more gutted that he's passed away. So sad and puts everything into perspective.
Wymsey Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Like some have said, he was certainly one of the better keepers in one of the worst periods of LCFC. RIP. Quite ironically, another (much) young keeper has also just sadly passed away... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34798713
iamafox Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 It's really sad when things like this happen, especially to someone who played and performed well for us. Fulop will be deeply missed RIP
Smudge Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 What a tragedy......my thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
Blanesta Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Well I'm shocked, just heard about this on the radio. He was a cracking keeper for us, and I wanted us to sign him permanently. Cancer is a cruel killer! RIP Marton
Monk Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 This is truly sad news . Marton was a brilliant player for us and I know most us were gutted when he moved on.
Corky Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 He was the keeper when Kingy made his first team debut 8 years ago.
Oxfordfox83 Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Astonishing news, very sad. Great keeper for us too, would have loved to have signed him after his loan. RIP
urban.spaceman Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Only 32, that's no age to die. Cancer is such an arsehole. Tragic, and very sad. RIP Marton.
Super_horns Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Wasn't aware he was ill - so tragic. Should still be playing (probably at a decent level too) RIP
Stadt Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Probably the first keeper that I liked since following us, far too soon.
jonthefox Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Very sad news this . At 32 as well . RIP Marton
leicsmac Posted 12 November 2015 Posted 12 November 2015 Good grief, 32 is no age at all as many on here have said. RIP. The day we're able to take on the Big C with much more success than not will be a momentous one for humanity.
