Marton Fulop RIP

My cousin would have been about 7 when he played for us, she called him Flip Flop and was her favourite player by a distance. She even had a goalie kit with flip flop on the back.

This is awful news and my condolences go to the Fulop family. He was a bright light in a dark time for City fans.

Genuinely gobsmacked.

Must be the first City player to have passed away who represented us since I took an interest in football.

As many have already mentioned, he was fantastic for us. Comfortably our best player during the time I spent the most time watching the City. Was gutted when we didn't sign him and even more gutted that he's passed away. So sad and puts everything into perspective.

Well I'm shocked, just heard about this on the radio. He was a cracking keeper for us, and I wanted us to sign him permanently. Cancer is a cruel killer! RIP Marton

This is truly sad news :(.

Marton was a brilliant player for us and I know most us were gutted when he moved on.

Good grief, 32 is no age at all as many on here have said. RIP.

The day we're able to take on the Big C with much more success than not will be a momentous one for humanity.
