SystonFox Posted 2 November 2005 Posted 2 November 2005 it is a good album. all decent songs really. oasis dont believe the truth is a great album. but the magic frickin long hair numbers....WHAT?! "put a pony in your pocket, fetch the suitcase from the van" and here my friends are THE TROTTERS!!!! "why do only fools and horses work? la la la, la la la la la, la la la la la la la la!"
Cat Burger Posted 7 November 2005 Posted 7 November 2005 Hard Fi = Shit pop rock. Seen them supporting the Kaizers and they danced around like a pop stars and got bottled off! Did you bottle the Kaisers off aswell? If not **** you.
The People's Hero Posted 7 November 2005 Posted 7 November 2005 Kaisers are about 100 times better than hard-to-listen-to... err I mean hard-fi.
Babylon Posted 14 November 2005 Posted 14 November 2005 Try buying something not from the mainstream banality. Try not preaching to people about what they should / should not listen to.
Babylon Posted 14 November 2005 Posted 14 November 2005 Hard Fi = Shit pop rock. Seen them supporting the Kaizers and they danced around like a pop stars and got bottled off! Yeah cus the kaisers would never do that??
Libertine Posted 14 November 2005 Posted 14 November 2005 Try not preaching to people about what they should / should not listen to. Thank you. Someone who speaks sense.
The People's Hero Posted 14 November 2005 Posted 14 November 2005 Fair play... Having said that, if someone starts a thread about a band, there are going to be positive as well as negative comments. Unless the band is Fightstar, The Coors or Busted because there should be no positive comments about those jokers.

Not to tell people what to listen to though.
gurkbasurken Posted 21 November 2005 Posted 21 November 2005 I think Hard-Fi is a great band, have only heard four songs though. Hoping for them to come to Sweden soon. /g
CasinoGee Posted 22 November 2005 Posted 22 November 2005 Try not preaching to people about what they should / should not listen to. Sorry luv, just a friendly suggestion to give you more joy in listening to music, there's a world out there y'know, the best stuff is often hidden...
Leicfox Posted 24 November 2005 Posted 24 November 2005 I loved this album, it gets a thumbs up from me
Knighton Matt Posted 19 March 2006 Posted 19 March 2006 Despite it being out for bloody ages I've only really given the album a good listen in the past week or so. In my opinion it's a cracker and refreshing to hear a new band make a decent album for a change rather than a few good singles but then loads of tosh filler songs to make up the numbers.

I agree... i've had the album since it was first released. Only recently has it really grown on me. I have this, the editors (still) and the new embrace album on repeat at the moment.
Bollock Head Posted 27 March 2006 Posted 27 March 2006 Hard-Fi are excellent. "Rival" forum members will know that I like them, the CCTV sign is my avatar.
