Loic Remy

Chelsea dangled Remy Infront of us to piss us off and mess with our heads !

Bet they will probably are thinking it will upset our teams push for the title thinking that we couldn't sign anyone !

But who gives a flying fook about Chelski and their silly games they are flops this season Remy actually wanted out for a chance to play in the Euros which he would have had a chance if he came to us,so their pettiness has done nothing for us but has stopped Remy from playing football and then going onto the Euros a bit like the baggies with Berahinio !!

To be fair I'm pretty sure Chelsea would prefer us to win the title than arsenal spurs or man citeh

Genuine question: why did he need to fly? Were all the trains cancelled as well? Or the motorways closed?

Utterly bizarre. Fax machines? Printers? A few lcfc bodies at the Chelsea ground and a solicitor maybe? I don't know - if there was a will there should've been a way.

Remy wouldn't have travelled to Leicester unless it was accepted by ALL parties. Chelsea were holding out. Its not like Remy could jump on a train to Leicester if Chelsea hadn't agreed a deal. Therefore if Remy was going to travel once all parties had agreed a deal then it would have to be by air in order to get to us in time to do a medical.

Why on earth would we sign the player then do a medical?

You don't need to sign the player before 11pm, just the paperwork from each team agreeing a deal. Submition of agreement of transfer I think it's called.

That's fair enough but no team in their right mind will take the risk of signing a player without a medical.

It can all still be subject to a medical though. So the teams agree stuff for the player, that gets sent to the FA, that is what they need. Everything else is subject to the club's etc, and then a confirmation of signing, but that can come after the window closes. You can still accept or decline the player based on a medical.
