Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Always difficult to sign anyone decent in January. Same reason we haven't let someone else waltz in and take Vardy or Mahrez. It works both ways. Having said that, I'm a bit baffled that we appear to have gone for £10m - £20m bids and ended up with nobody at all. I assume we'll go 4-3-3 if necessary.

Micky Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 So the deals couldn't be done. Fair play to Rudkin and Neville for not being fleeced by the crazy market. We were willing to pay big bucks but we weren't prepared to be ripped off. We may not have a huge amount of back up but we are top of the league with the current squad, so why not back them for the final 15 games. People seem to forget that we have signed Gray and Amartey and retained all of our key players. Lets go for it now!

LJS Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 If Vardy gets injured, who do you turn to? Okazaki is more than capable of playing as the main striker. He scored plenty doing so for Mainz. Ulloa could do a target man job pretty well should we need to go 4-3-3 as well.
