STUHILL Posted 25 January 2016 Posted 25 January 2016 He was the one from the list I was most interested in based on his goal scoring record, his pace, work rate and having experience of the Premiership and probably keen to play and maybe prove to Chelsea they are wrong not to play him. I watched him yesterday too and he was poor but he can't be judged soley on a 20min sub appearance. His and Vardy's pace would be scary. Can they play together though? As they both seem similar players and perhaps need a number 10 type player to hold the ball up and play them in behind the defence. Would be very happy with this if true, although Sky reports we were offered him and we rejected it, plus we are definitely in negotiations with Eder, so would we be after both? Hope so.

We are quick to judge our own players on a 20 minute cameo performance. Both Shinji and Ulloa have come in for criticism lately.
st albans fox Posted 25 January 2016 Posted 25 January 2016 He looksed knackered yesterday and he only came on as a sub. I read somewhere he had a knee problem which meant he couldnt play every game. On his Newcastle form I would have him but think he isn't the same player now

He's hardly kicked a ball though, and if we could get him up to speed, it could be a smart bit of business. Danger is, we won't be able to get him up to speed if he repeats his weekend form!!

STUHILL Posted 25 January 2016 Posted 25 January 2016 Makes sense for him to go to Palace with it being another London club etc and him probably becoming their star striker. We have Vardy as ours and he wouldn't be our main man, but we are top of the league and play exciting/attacking football. I know which club I would rather do a 6month loan to. No brainer!
