foxes161 Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Is this De Bruyne injury going to be yet another thing that's fallen our way? they are deep enough to cope fine.
foxfanazer Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Can't celebrate an injury like that even if it does benefit us. Hope he makes a full and speedy recovery
Captain... Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Not going to celebrate the injury, but it is just a fact that Man City losing one of their best players will hinder them, but they have the strength in depth to cope better than we could if we lost Kante or Vardy or Schmeichel.
davieG Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 He may well have not played against us and it lessens their chances of progressing. In the other comps.
johnny the fox Posted 28 January 2016 Author Posted 28 January 2016 De Bruyne being stretchered off, looks serious. music to my ears. all this mealy mouth stuff about not wishing an injury on anybody is bollocks..it evens things up a bit..
thybluefox Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Weirdly I'd prefer if he'd have been fit if he'd helped them stay in all comps.
Foxstone Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 As we move into the run in I think that the order in which we play relative to our rivals will become increasingly influential. 3 points on the board for one team before the others play puts added pressure on them to match the result. Next Tuesday all 4 teams play but the weekend after Arsenal have to play on the Sunday. 14th Feb is a huge day as all 4 rivals are paired together but the early fixture between ourselves and Arsenal could pile the pressure on Man City/Spurs. Next round of games then start 27th Feb and we have the possible advantage of the Saturday fixture whilst Arsenal & Spurs don't play till Sunday and Man City have no fixture due to League Cup final. If we can get the results the other 3 are always playing catch up.
johnny the fox Posted 30 January 2016 Author Posted 30 January 2016 more lovely games for the top 6 except us...
