fazzyfox Posted 2 March 2016 Posted 2 March 2016 I remember the distinctive trio of Manager (Murphy), flamboyant chairman (suit, sheepskin coat, cigars, smart car) and grumpy sod kind of Club Secretary who was constantly trying to close down the supporters club room. Club politics, stereotypes galore and good humour. The son of the policeman (who was one of the regular mob characters fathers in the show) was in my year at school, I also recall that they switched filming from Watford to Sheepsville for a later series
