Captain... Posted 11 March 2016 Posted 11 March 2016 Why do they take so long to award this? You don't need 11 days to see Spurs were the only team with 100% record in Feb. Fraser Forster takes player of the month, that may be a bit more subjective but how long does it take to decide? I'm sure MP is enjoying his MOTM award having seen his side drop 5 points and throw away any chance in the Europa league. Likewise Forster having concede 3 goals including an absolute clanger in one of the games and his team have dropped 5 points in March, but well done for last month.

It's an excellent point actually and just highlights the fact that some people shouldn't be quite awarding us the title just yet. I'm a lot more comfortable reading that we won't last the pace than we're Champions elect. It's perfectly feasible we take one point in two games and find ourselves second.
