Does this mean we can finally put behind us the era of "foxes never quit"? It always sounded really cheese and cringeworthy to me, also reminded me of a particularly bad period in our history which we can finally say goodbye to.

King Power still use 'Foxes never quit' in advertising at Bangkok Airport- saw it last Friday.

As far as I'm concerned, the forever fearless/foxes never quit stuff can all go in the bin.

A pretty naff attempt at trying to 'brand' success

You know things are going well when all people can moan about is what's written on a scarf you get for free.

I think it's great from the owners to give out free scarfs. They are very good like this - the ones at West Brom looked excellent where the City fans were holding them up.

Sorry, to clarify - when I said "stuff", I was referring to the branding attempts more than the actual items of clothing.

I don't really have a problem with getting a free scarf...who would?

But I still think the sloganeering is just a bit pants (ditto clappers and goal music - but that's been discussed elsewhere at great length!)

I'm in agreement. Slightly provincial. Not uncommon though. Certain traditions at many clubs around the world are cringeworthy.
