mozartfox Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Does this mean we can finally put behind us the era of "foxes never quit"? It always sounded really cheese and cringeworthy to me, also reminded me of a particularly bad period in our history which we can finally say goodbye to.
mozartfox Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 King Power still use 'Foxes never quit' in advertising at Bangkok Airport- saw it last Friday.
VLC86 Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 As far as I'm concerned, the forever fearless/foxes never quit stuff can all go in the bin. A pretty naff attempt at trying to 'brand' success You know things are going well when all people can moan about is what's written on a scarf you get for free.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 I think it's great from the owners to give out free scarfs. They are very good like this - the ones at West Brom looked excellent where the City fans were holding them up.
leicesterseddon Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 You know things are going well when all people can moan about is what's written on a scarf you get for free. Sorry, to clarify - when I said "stuff", I was referring to the branding attempts more than the actual items of clothing. I don't really have a problem with getting a free scarf...who would? But I still think the sloganeering is just a bit pants (ditto clappers and goal music - but that's been discussed elsewhere at great length!)

Not uncommon though. Certain traditions at many clubs around the world are cringeworthy.
promised land Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Where's my scarf Probably with mine, still no sign of it. So won't get it before travelling tomorrow as postie rocks up here anything between midday and 2pm.
