Russell sprout Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Just popped home from work and had a forever fearless scarf sent to my daughter thanking her for her continued away support ahead of palace away, nice gesture from the club, nice scarf aswell
rico Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 We had ours handed to us at the Newcastle game, decent scarf
filbertway Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Dont mind fearless but id prefer #FoxesNeverQuit We've only been behind for 47 minutes in the last 19 games or something like that. We don't really have the option to quit
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Think I prefer the one given out at Wba but both great touch by the club
Harboroughfox91 Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Are they giving these out then whoever is going palace game then?

Mint23 Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Does this mean we can finally put behind us the era of "foxes never quit"? It always sounded really cheese and cringeworthy to me, also reminded me of a particularly bad period in our history which we can finally say goodbye to.

No, it is displayed in huge letters on the video screens at every single home game, and written above the tunnel when the players come out.

No, it is displayed in huge letters on the video screens at every single home game, and written above the tunnel when the players come out. and was also the 'motto' during O'Neils years so not sure how it reminds you of bad times?....although to be fair, what followed O'neils years......
Mint23 Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 I don't remember it from O'neils era, always thought it appeared along with "keep the faith" from Micky Adams time
promised land Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Are they giving these out then whoever is going palace game then? More likely not, last season scarfs went out to everyone who had attended every away game or who at least used their ref for one. Maybe this is the same but ive not had mine yet unless the postie has had it away.
crisp packet Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Struggled walking through the door. Nice scarf waiting for me,wedged the door took a minute to get in.. Another great gesture from the owners , with a sign letter from Susan whelan. Asking us to wear them at palace.

rico Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Walshy told us on Monday Crystal Palace wouldn't let them hand them out at the ground on Saturday so the club decided to distribute them before the game
promised land Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 The note in with it says it's for them going Crystal Palace. I thought I'd make a point of the 'ref' thing, it does get a few backs up in here. Postie better bring mine tomorrow then.
Carl the Llama Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Walshy told us on Monday Crystal Palace wouldn't let them hand them out at the ground on Saturday so the club decided to distribute them before the game Why on Earth not? Hardly a competitive edge is it?
rico Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Why on Earth not? Hardly a competitive edge is it? don't shoot the messenger
Carl the Llama Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 don't shoot the messenger I believe you, I'm just asking why they'd be so petty.
leicesterseddon Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 As far as I'm concerned, the forever fearless/foxes never quit stuff can all go in the bin. A pretty naff attempt at trying to 'brand' success
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Why on Earth not? Hardly a competitive edge is it? I'd guess it's an issue of space, a lot of home fans walk directly past the away entrances to get to their turnstiles on a relatively narrow residential street. They probably didn't want big crowds waiting to pick up/put on scarfs before they head inside. Oh and something to do with wannabe ultras.
FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Great, something else for the palace ultras to nick! They are cracking scarves though! The owners would get our money whether they did little gestures like that or not, but they still make these little touches, it's so appreciated! I really to think we have the best owners in the league
