Sol thewall Bamba Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 This is why I get so frustrated with supporters who don't understand Ulloa's role when he comes on to hold a 1v0 lead; or in this case when we are down to 10 men. What do you expect him to do? Stand on the half way line chasing every pass the defence plays? Ulloa was superb when he came on. His hold up play, with the ball at his feet, was brilliant and he played his role today (to be the first of line of the defence) very well. He contributed to the defence by at times joint-tackling West Ham's players along with our CMs. Honestly, because he doesn't sprint or doesn't have the finish of Vardy, a lot of our fans overlook his contribution to the team (especially his contribution in the last 5 games). Great post. People need to stop comparing our other strikers to Vardy, they are different players and offer different options. Leo did great.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Kasper - 6 Simpson - 6 Morgan - 6 Huth - 7 Fuchs - 5 Mahrez - 5 Drinkwater - 5 Kante - 7 Albrighton - 6 Okazaki - 5 Vardy - 5 Subs: Jeff - 5 Amartey - 6 Leo - 9 Thought Ranieri made the right subs at the right times, referee abysmal for both sides and ruined what had the potential to be a very good game of football.
bluebeau Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 I have never seen a referee so heavily criticised on Foxes Talk. He was absolutely abismal. We can't all be wrong!!! The FA must take a good hard look at this asshole, he is a disgrace & should be removed from the Premier League list of referees.

Thracian Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Ulloa MoM for me. Quite apart from it being so vital if we'd have concerted all our penalties as crisply and efficiently as that this season we'd have virtually won the title by now. The bloke made a massive difference in a short time. Referee got "shocking" and that was not for any individual decision, questionable though so many were, but for a complete lack of consistency, control or considered thinking. It really is rare to recall occasions when any referee has so become so great a focus of attention as Moss and for all the wrong reasons. As someone mentioned on the radio, the best referees are the ones you hardly notice. Haha if there'd been a prize for guessing his job I reckon 80% would have got it right. I just hope his pupils don't make so many mistakes.
ElsoFox99 Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Personally think Drinkwater had a poor game, many wayward passes in the middle of the park. Mahrez extremely quiet and looked very off the pace when receiving the ball. Thought Ulloa did his job brilliantly when coming on, despite sitting a bit too deep. Defence quality once again and if it were any other referee, we are winning that game comfortably.
