Watching Man U match in France (Dordogne)

Recommended Posts

I will be in France (Thiviers, north Dordogne) this Sunday and am gagging to watch the match and to see us clinch the league. Can any foxile who knows how best to do this give me any advice (knowledge of any sports bars that might show it, ways of getting it on a PC, etc)?

Many thanks.

Up the Foxes!

The game is very likely to be on Canal, French TV, so would see if you can check the listings for the match. I have seen many games in Paris whilst visiting my family so good luck.

Thanks.

Coincidentally, I travelled down from stockport on Saturday and stayed 2 nights with my daughter who now lives in Solihull. Arrived here in france at 11.15 last night, and 40 mins before my arrival I received an excited phone call from my daughter informing me of the Spurs result. Within the hour I received a further 5 texts from various friends with the same info. I have got a lot of friends enthused and half converted!

I was surprised that canal might show it. Thought the french were disinterested in footy. I will follow your suggestion and ask around the local sports bars, but the dordogne isn't quite the same thing as Paris.

I had a feeling there were one or two fans in the dordogne, but no bites yet.

Thanks again.

Stick kodi on an ipad and hotspot your phone.

Thanks Yorkie. I've read quite a bit about kodi. I am tempted to give it a go. Hope you enjoy the match yourself (hope we all do).

Learning from experience this weekend, try and look for somewhere asap.

I was in France this weekend and couldn't find anywhere to watch it. I was in a small village outside of Bordeaux but a lot of France shuts down on Sunday's so choices will be limited

Haha funny that this was posted. I'll be in Monaco on Sunday.

This is almost certainly a stupid question, but does anyone know if they also have Canal+?

Hello guys,

@@Hollism: Of course you have Canal+ in Monaco. There is same channels in France and in Monaco.

@@deep blue: If you want to see the game without streaming website, you can use MyCanal. It's a site when you can have all channels and you also have a free month. You create an account and you can see the game without advert or banned channels.

This is the link: http://www.mycanal.fr/

After you click on "live tv"

Sorry for my english
