Where is everyone drinking before the Man U game? First time to Man U away and il be on my own

A big city so tends to have fans more spread out rather than drinking all together. Oxford Road has a good mix of pubs.

Edit - 1 post... not Old Bill are you...

Cheers! Haha no wouldn't even dream of it! What about near the ground? Salford quays? I've looked online but most of them tend to say home fans.

Tends to be mainly Utd near the ground. Especially proper boozer wise.

Although the other year we stayed near the ground for the night and think we used a frankie and bennys which was ok. Had a few Leicester in. But your better of in the centre. But even then colours may limit options.

Nice place, I've got a mate who lives there so been for a few beers there. Think the best place for a nice beer is called Dockyard but might be making that up.

In colours?

Matchstick Man. About 5 second walk from the tram stop in Salford Quays.

They let both home & away in last season, and yeah I had my Leicester shirt on as I will tomorrow.

Yeah that's near Media City isn't it?? I love going back to Manchester as I was at Uni there, some places around the City (and that part of Salford of course) are superb.

Matchstick Man (Hungry Horse) Salford Quays. Mix of Home and away fans. Wore colours last 2 years

That's the one I'm thinking of. Is there a restaurant next to it? Sure I remember there being 2 places next door to each other. We stayed at the ibis over the road couple of years back.

Drank in the centre last season tho as we stayed over near the emptiad

Yeah there's quite a few options near. I'll be in Matchstick Man too.

You can drink at the cricket ground before the game. Was mainly Leicester fans there last year.
