Played really well today, leading the line and always posing a danger to the palace defence. He deserved a goal and was so unlucky with his header in the second half. He also set up musa's goal, which I didn't notice during the match.

@Fennec-Fox I swear it is (the "bass" line/guitar riff for) Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes... but sung too fast.

Maybe I'm wrong and just hear that though because I heard it so much from the Euros.

Also, quick fact: Since the start of last season no Leicester player has scored more headers in the Premier League than Slimani, managing that in just four appearances.

Thx Firefox, Know very well the song, but didn't came to mind...you're righ, the bass ring a bell very close but Not sure if it's quite

Best he has played although I am still not 100% convinced....he's a brute of a man as I luckily met him after the game!

interstingly I think he prefers being the centre of the moves and worked harder yesterday without Vardy there.......time will tell but I am not sure he and JV are suited as a two up top.......him as the central striker occupying the centre halfs and pace out wide seemed to work with Shinji linking as he does best!

JV could have real competition to get in and that might be a slight kick up the backside which could be good all round.

Completely agree with the final sentence.

All the fame and fortune that came to Vardy last season DOES need a reality check.

I quite like this aspect of Ranieri. No one seems undroppable.

The test will now be about Vardy's character. Will he sulk or try harder to get back into the first 11.

I suspect the latter.
