Also Vardy wanting to quit football at one stage shows he has a weak mentality.

Could show the opposite really.... That he fought back from such a low point in his life and helped us win the league and gained a place in the England side...

Psychology doesn't work quite like that. My son is a kickboxer and he considered quitting the sport a few years back as he didn't think he was able to cut it with the big boys however 3 years on and he's 11 times British champion and is world champion. He doubted himself in that moment that was all, and me being his dad and coach I told him to go back to basics and that he was good enough to go all the way and he is doing it. We all doubt ourselves at some point in our lives but it takes a real character to beat them demons

He's won the British title and World title 11 times in 3 years?

He probably means he's defended his title 11 times in 3 years

Yes he won 1 world title and won 4 British title belts and has defended them a total of 11 times

A more of a use and upgrade to Ulloa, with the latter can see him maybe thinking of a move in January as Okazaki and Slimani offer more in general.

Just seen him and Riyad pull in at the stadium. Guessing its nothing but I also saw Dave Rennie meet them there.

I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't all have a weekly catch up with the physio team..

Oh yeah of course, not sure why it would take place at the stadium when I guess all of the sports science stuff would be at the training ground.

Riyad just posted this a few minutes ago, showing his older brother Wahid around the stadium apparently.

Are we offering him a trial too lol

there are many players that are plucked from footballing obscocruity, surely the big move is  (at the time) justification for all the hard work you have put in your career.

And you expect your argument to be taken seriously?

Can anybody help with the original music or song for the "Ohhh Islam Slimani...Ohhh Islam Slimani"

I know ManU fans used to sing that for Robin Van Persie, but he joined ManU in 2012 and I know this Algerian soccer song from 2009...so what's the original? thx

@Fennec-Fox I swear it is (the "bass" line/guitar riff for) Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes... but sung too fast.

Maybe I'm wrong and just hear that though because I heard it so much from the Euros.

Also, quick fact: Since the start of last season no Leicester player has scored more headers in the Premier League than Slimani, managing that in just four appearances.

He's scored two headers in the Premier League, Huth scored two last season.

He said no player has scored more. If they have both scored 2, then Huth hasn't scored more. Granted, bit of a strange stat, will be better when Slimani's scored the most with his head after bagging one today ;)
