Crinklyfox Posted 27 December 2016 Posted 27 December 2016 Faith is belief that is not based on proof. Hard when the proof is staring at you.
Monsell1976 Posted 27 December 2016 Posted 27 December 2016 Faith would come with playing well, and still losing. The old saying the results will come would apply, but we play with little effort, no conviction, and look clueless. I would have some faith if it was the odd game here or there, but these poor performances, and poor excuses are the norm now. So it's hard to keep the faith, faith needs to be created by the players, in the shape of some sort of response.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 27 December 2016 Posted 27 December 2016 In the long run, I think we will turn it around, just like I said with West Ham who have seemingly turned a corner. Not meaning to do one of those 'fans should be doing this' but we mustn't turn our backs on the squad, and I'm confident that won't happen. Back in the 2014/15 season, we were bottom for the large majority, on a long winless run, but still 30k of us came every other week to Filbert Way. 'Keep the faith' is the motto needed at the moment, it's what we've been proven at. Of course, things need changing, whether it be formations or personnel, but on the flip side I do believe the squad appreciate our support. Us fans play a key part in this squad's success, as 2015/16 showed.
Barky Posted 27 December 2016 Posted 27 December 2016 Wouldn't worry about it. The proper fans at the ground are still in decent voice supporting the lads. It's only on here you get the overexcited kids pretending the world is ending.
Spiritwalker Posted 27 December 2016 Posted 27 December 2016 This is the most pessimistic I have been since we were promoted. Even when we were rock bottom in our 1st season back I always thought we were trying to get things right and playing ok. This season half the team just don't have the quality and the other half don't seem to be motivated. The only one who looks like a decent premier league player is Kasper. We are all pinning our hopes on the Jan transfer window but if the Summer is anything to go by then we are in big trouble.
Blizzard Posted 27 December 2016 Posted 27 December 2016 Its not that bad. Kasper, Huth, Vardy, Fuchs, Chilwell, Mahrez player of the year, Simpson, Morgan there's some great players to start with.....patience......People are losing their heads. The summer was probably so manic with the PL win, no one thought to much about the following season..... they were all too busy jet setting, interviewing etc etc etc. As for the signings, Walsh was leaving so wouldn't have been that committed ( at a guess) We won't get relegated.....famous last words .
