Ah right, knew I didn't say he was shit. Cheers.

What you wrote suggested he'd be sold off after failing, that's pretty sh*t in my book!!!

Not sure what you were reading mate.

Those posts prove that I was only willing to judge the lad after i'd seen him play at a good standard for a decent amount of time. Seen a million and one of these types of transfers fall on their arse, we all hope for the best from Ndidi, but lets judge the lad after he's shown us what he can do, eh?

At the end of the day it's about what's best for Leicester, but I didn't appreciate your damning views at an early stage. Unlike some,  I take a lot of time and consideration when assessing a player, which includes painstaking full 90 min match replays (usually 3/4 games) of European leagues that are played at a snails pace in comparison to the PL (that require heavy doses of caffeine), analysis of stats and engaging fans of the club and with journalists attached to the club (all of which I did for Ndidi) and Acerbi (who I believe would be a poor signing).

But I agree it is early days yet.

EDIT: haha revoked, well @AKCJ what have we done lol

Yes, lots of gushing about this chap. If a well known source says we'll bid, I'll be all

over the 90 minute replays for his club - tricky to tell, although Mahrez was raving about his pressing when Algeria were soundly beaten by Nigeria towards the back end of last year.

You are right, both Mahrez and Brahimi of FC Porto were raving about his pressing. He played as a DM in that match against Algeria. He is a player whose value will rise and the earlier Leicester strike the better. Ndidi came off the bench to replace Mikel in the 80th minute of that match.

You should be Etebo's agent mate, can feel your passion!

If we want him we have to get him now as we are in a good place as a club and the big boys probably don't even know who he is. We have Ndidi and Musa so I would think he'd rather join us than any other club.

Ndidi,Gray,Chilwell,Kapustka all just 20. With Amartey 22 and Harvey Barnes 19. The future looks very bright.

Very good, just need to get the CB's age down (and RB) and we should have a pretty decent spine developing. Something about Scott Hogan makes me feel we could be missing out on a potential 15/20 goal future PL striker though. He'd be happy to play understudy to Vardy (like the Fuchs/Chilwell relationship).

Forgot about Barnes. How does he manage to start a CL away game and then go back up in thin air again lol

I am not his agent :D but I have started supporting Leicester City because of Musa and Ndidi who both come off the bench for Nigeria. Etebo, however, is one of the first names in the Super Eagles starting XI an is still a bit of an unknown quantity to the big boys.

How much have you watched of Etebo, has it mainly been for Nigeria or have you seen him play in Belgium too? Which players would you say his style is most similar to?

PS Welcome to the forum Dammy!

He didn't start.  He came off the bench because Drinkwater got injured.

I have watched Etebo mainly for the Nigerian Olympic and full national teams. I watched his recent cup match against Porto where he was outstanding. I think his style is similar to Michael Essien. Thanks for the welcome.

Box to box midfielder? What are his strengths  and weaknesses?

He is very energetic and can run for 90 minutes. He is a very good dribbler and drives the ball forward with pace. In the CAN U23 Olympic qualifiers final against Algeria where he scored both Nigerian goals in a 2-1 victory, twice he drove forward from the center circle beating about 6 player and got felled in the penalty box. He scored from the resultant penalty, second time he did it again and scored. He is very good with free-kicks and has an eye for goal. The only area of his game that could be a weakness is his heading as I have not really noticed that aspect of his game. He can play DM, CM and AM and sometimes as a striker.

Sounds decent, how much would he cost Dammy do you think? Would he be happy on the bench initially?

I think a bid in the region of 8 to 10 million euros will be enough to get him as he cost his club peanuts when they got him from Nigeria last January. Also his club chairman is Nigerian and has mentioned a fee of 10 million euros negotiable. i don't think he will have a problem with sitting on the bench as he is quite humble like Ndidi.

He plays for feirense who are currently 16th in the Portuguese top flight. Can't imagine them asking for loads?

looks promising. But we will wait till he's played more than 1 game.

A friend who went to Everton said he did well, but that Mendy was special

I didn't watch the Everton game. I'm looking forward to watching him at the KP on Saturday though.

If a ticket appears I might make a visit...
