Gueye / Ndidi / Drinky / Mendy in the midfield.

Can you even imagine?

I'm having memories of a midfield diamond, and they aren't good memories.

I suppose I picture an impenetrable wall of flying legs, but we probably couldn't move the ball forward a lick.

Though from the sounds of it Ndidi had a few nice runs.

How is it that this guy played a full 90 minutes a mere 5 days after signing for us but it took Kaputska 5 months to make a sub appearance? lol

I quite like the white shirts and blue shorts & socks combo. Looks better than the all white IMO.

What I like about that... apart from the amazing LEAP () its the fact his has his eyes firmly on the ball... even Wes has his eyes shut!

He looked very good but I am more excited about how them three appeared to compliment each other and free up Drinky to create chances.

Early days though.

He sounds like Amartey. Or maybe all West Africans sound the same. Very soft spoken.

He looked decent from the 20 minute stream from the Evertonian I managed to pick up.

Clearly a team player, put him in a midfield three and get Drinkwater in a more advanced creative role.  Should do us nicely away from home.

Jeez that brings me back to the season before last standing in the rain away at southampton with the ****ing diamond midfield.

I hope you will all enjoy watching this guy.

We will miss him at Genk

Give him some time. His biggest quality: teams comes always first

He is always allover the pitch winning back the ball

Great signing for you guys

And as far as i'm concerned you got him way too cheap

Many of us have noted how kind and respectful the Genk supporters are that have come on to our forums! When we lost Kante we were very hurt so it's really classy to see how even though you are upset about losing him, you wish him the best and follow his career with interest.

If if it's any consolation you should take pride that your youth academy continues to produce such great talent and that in coming to Leicester, he's come to a real family club. We have great owners and I think our story last year tells you a lot about both our players and fans!

All the best to Genk in the Belgian and Europa leagues this season!

It's quite funny on how several member here made a U-turn regarding N'Golo Kanté lol

I remember when he's protrayed as Judas for joining a club who finished 10th place the season before.

Ha well I think a lot of people do still think that!

I don't think he is a judas, but it just made me very sad. What made the title win so special is the way we did it. Man City and Chelsea brought the title. Whilst our owners have invested a lot into our club, we won it with a ton of really likable misfits, having learnt our lesson of signing talented but horrible people such as Beckford and Matt Mills. I could easily imagine Wes Morgan being one your mates at the pub, Riyad Mahrez being the school-yard show-off that's ridiculously good but always late and Jamie Vardy as the guy that eats McDonalds every day for lunch but still doesn't get fat and is always faster than everyone! Kante was the quiet kid that everyone loved because he really was good, never complained and always helped the team. That amazing game against Man City was sticking two fingers up at modern football and showing the world that TEAMWORK and camaraderie is still the key to winning, and not just spending millions. Kante leaving hurt because we literally could not have done any better - we won the league!!! Had we finished second, or had he gone to Real Madrid (the Champions League winners) it would be understandable. But to not carry on for just one more season and go to Chelsea who had their worst season in 10 years hurt, even though you can't hold it against him.
