Thought Burnley's home support sounded excellent on my stream last night. They even had voices to help them instead of using bits of cardboard.

They didn't sing one song all night and the only time I heard them at all was them shouting "handball" every time it went near one of our players chests.

So it's a one way street then, I'm sorry I'm not buying they need us, yes it's good for both fans and players to have a good atmosphere, but it's what happens on the pitch that dictates it, not the other way around in my opinion.

These are highly paid, career footballers, who should have the professional pride to want to go out and win every game, and putting everything in to achieve that.

For me what we have is a team feeling sorry for itself, and talks bollocks in the press saying they know what they have to do to turn it around, and then perform and the same shocking standard.

Im sorry to get a response out of this squad, it has to come from within them, not the crowd chanting, a change in mentality, and become what we having been all season, a team again.

Christ. Some of the excuses in here  You're being given a piece of cardboard to make the noise for you and you still can't be arsed. Yea the team might being playing shit and yes they might be playing half arsed, but for **** sake you're just as bad if you can't be bothered to wave a clacker. 

 

Its not something that's just started either. Just a new excuse. How about people try getting being them for 90 minutes win lose or draw and see what happens. If we've given up on them why on earth would they fight for us?

let's just get behind the team and give them some support, yes it;s a difficult situation for every fan but that is when the team needs the fans the most when they are in dire straits. it's easy to support your team if they are winning all the time and everything is rosy, it's a lot harder when things are going pear shaped and the team and the fans are struggling.so make some noise, support your team and give something back for the magical days and nights that they and the football club have given every fan over the years. come on city you can do this.

Fans need motivation as much as the players. And right now there's nothing to rouse anyone from the programme notes.

The club/fans need to group together and produce something to inspire the players at home matches from now in. If you see the image attached, the words to that would be ideal to reproduce in our own style, given our current situation.
