Apropos of nothing, the TC Electronics Magus Pro distortion pedal is a 23 quid on Amazon and Thomann at the moment. 

 

It's basically a copy of the original RAT distortion pedal and has two extra modes that mimic the Turbo RAT and I believe Fat Rat.

 

These used to be about £70 and I waited ages for a deal and paid about 50 because I'm a tight arse, so why they're so cheap now I've no idea but DON'T QUESTION IT, it's great

That's a great deal....I have an old ProCo Rat pedal....they do sound good...the filter really helps get the sound you want.

Definitely a good deal, I checked how much mine was last year..it was 29 quid...so 23 is a bloody steal!

wil use it with garage band to record guitar and vocals

anyone uses it?

I still use my 2nd gen 2i2 every day. I’ve thought about upgrading it but never had a real reason to. These things are home studio legends.
