Guest WarehamFox Posted 15 November 2017 Posted 15 November 2017 A book by Truman Capote, only just read it. Kind of disturbed, the story, the killers and the author!
Webbo Posted 15 November 2017 Posted 15 November 2017 I read it years ago. I'd never heard of it but i bought it second hand from a school fete. I found it a bit boring tbh. I think they made a film of it about 5 years ago.

Milo Posted 15 November 2017 Posted 15 November 2017 Great book - (I think Capote was a bit of an odd-bod, though)...good evocative and immersive read
ajthefox Posted 15 November 2017 Posted 15 November 2017 Never read the book but saw the film on Netflix a few months back. Worth a watch as Phillip Seymour Hoffman is pretty good but I wouldn't say it's that memorable.

Capote, the film starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, about Truman Capote writing the book is a great film, but that's over 10 years old. Infamous covers the same ground, and has Toby Jones playing Capote and was released at roughly the same time. Never seen the one, but supposed to be good.
