Being a gilet, it makes him even more French.

Maybe it's the fact he wears it inside his jacket and not on the outside is what is disconcerting me.

Personally I wasn’t impressed with his appointment at the time. But, I now feel I was wrong. Puel has steadied the ship and moved us into mid table. We’ve played some good stuff along the way but there’s obviously improvements that can and I believe will be made.

If we finish mid table this season I’d be happy, then lets see what he can do next when, no doubt they’ll be some changes to the 1st team squad.

Even the club are putting subtitles on his interviews. Not sure they've done that before with someone speaking English.

I don't see an issue with putting subtitles on his interviews, he has a strong accent and if it helps to get his point across then so be it.

But in all honesty the subtitles in that clip clearly don't even accurately reflect what Puel was saying. They've literally (badly) re-written what he has said in their own words, which surely defeats the point of a post-match interview. I wasn't even looking closely and spotted two spelling errors/typos - 'unfortunatly' and 'nbeed'.

I agree with previous posts. He may not be as engaging as Ranieri was, but that doesn't mean there isn't value in his press conferences.

I was disappointed when we got him as I wanted us to get Dyche. I'm happy with the job Puel has done so far but I still would have rather we had Sean Dyche.

I don't. We'd be watching Morgan and Maguire hoof to Ulloa if Dyche was in charge.

They've done this with all interviews.
