Its a real tuffy.

Will craig go with the stupidly suspendid levein signing, or the inform winning stearman, what a fantastic headache.

Easy question to answer in my view. Stearman easy. And get Sheehan in on the left.

Attack is the answer and these two can both attack.

Just see. Forwards who can attack PLUS midfielders who can attack PLUS defenders who can attack adds up to one great big headache for the opposition.

Stearman should be kept at right back.

As we seem to change the left back every match, put Maybury in there. He may not be as effective as he is at right back, he's more reliable than any other left back we've tried in the last 6-7 games, other than Sheehan of course ;)

I remember seeing that somewhere before

Now THAT i fully agree with. On todays performance you cannot take stearman out for maybury, and maybury is only a bench place v burnley.

Considering we were away, considering we hadnt won away in 20, and considering we were playing a form team, we played an attacking formation, and it WORKED. If anything is learnt from this, its that defensive players like joey and williams WONT help us get promotion, and im saying WE CAN NOW SEE PROMOTION LIGHT.

Were 15th with 15 pts and JUST 4 pts off the play offs.

We must beat burnley, and then cov at home, things aint too bad.

Nearly 74 per cent say Stearman - and If I recall there was a similarly overwhelming vote for Sheehan on the other flank.

Would Barber ask the manager, when he gets round to it, why Sheehan is overlooked when SO MANY others believe he is the best man for a job which is obviously worrying Levein. I would also have him ask Levein WHY he seems to have so little faith in Sheehan?

I would like the answers not to put pressure on the manager or for any negative reasons but because I would like to know the answers.

I would like to understand his viewpoint and would then be better able to consider whether he's seen flaws that I have missed and might therefore have a point.

As it stands we seem to be treating the left back situation like a weakness when, in fact, I believe we have one of the OUTSTANDING emerging left backs in the country.

But I'm all ears....

and with Gilbert's performance for the welsh u21's hopefully a sign of things to come from him that's 2 natural left backs with lots of potential who are good going forward being overlooked

I somehow sense that you might have a slight preference for Stearman? :P

I like to see CL go with Stearman on the right and Maybury on the left for the Burnley game. Clearly Stearman is playing too well to be benched, but Maybury has shown enough to deserve a place in the starting 11, even if it is slightly out of position.

Personally, i'd still like to see Stearman given a chance at Centre Half, possibly alongside Dublin, as i'm still convinced Stearman's long term future lies there rather than right back.
