frenchy_lcfc Posted 16 October 2005 Posted 16 October 2005 I was just wondering where your Dream Destination would be??? Mind is Japan so i can see how advanced they are from us and to see the massive attractions such as the Bullet the fastest Train in the world!!!!
Northants Fox Posted 16 October 2005 Posted 16 October 2005 Los Angeles California or Orlando Florida
Thracian Posted 16 October 2005 Posted 16 October 2005 My mother-in-law has travelled the world on countless occasions and talks of New Zealand being the most amazing trip of all. That'd do for me. Another question is who would you most like to accompany you? Me I'd like David Attenborough cos he just makes everything sound so simplistically interesting and Kate Humble cos, apart from being deliciously attractive, seems such a bubbly and unnaffected girl. I'm sure the wife wouldn't REALLY mind!!!. Is it decent to still be fantasising at 56?

cisono Posted 16 October 2005 Posted 16 October 2005 New Zealand & Canada are places I'd like to go to and Thracian I'll fight you for Kate Humble I worked in NZ for 8 months and got to see most of the stuff there. I'd still like to go back though! Also would like to see more of Australia and I have been meaning to visit Japan since I was a kid. One day... I don't fancy taking Kate Humble with me (whoever she is). I'd much rather go with my man

Such a scenic country and it was made even better to be there when the whole country was going Lions Tour crazy. Apart from that, places along the east coast of Australia are fairly amazing. But after travelling a lot recently I'm of the opinion that it's the people that you meet, just as much as the place itself, that makes a place seem so special.
Bert Posted 16 October 2005 Posted 16 October 2005 Greenland!! not really New Zealand has always appealed to me
Northants Fox Posted 16 October 2005 Posted 16 October 2005 Los Angeles California or Orlando Florida If not these places then Sydney Australia

Northants Fox Posted 16 October 2005 Posted 16 October 2005 This may sound odd but i wouldn't mind Denmark or Norway

Thracian Posted 17 October 2005 Posted 17 October 2005 New Zealand & Canada are places I'd like to go to and Thracian I'll fight you for Kate Humble Ah, thank God. Another fantacist who's close enough to my age! Couldn't we just share?
Guest Posted 17 October 2005 Posted 17 October 2005 I was just wondering where your Dream Destination would be??? Mind is Japan so i can see how advanced they are from us and to see the massive attractions such as the Bullet the fastest Train in the world!!!! Mr Lisa has to go to Japan at least once a year, as he works for a Japanese company. He hates the place. He finds it too small, too cramped, and the Japanese have no concept of personal space. He is also 6ft 2", so he stands out a bit, which he doesn't like! He has been on the Shinkansen (Bullet train) quite a bit. One good thing about the Japanese is that they are very efficient. If a train is due to arrive at 12.10, it arrives at 12.10, and will leave bang on time. They also arrive at the platform so that the doors are in exactly the same place every time, so there's no running down the platform because you've stood in the wrong place! There are too many places I want to go to. I would like to do the Inca trail, see the Aurora Borealis, go to New Zealand, see the fjords, all sorts really. I'd best win that lottery jackpot!!
Guest Gist Posted 17 October 2005 Posted 17 October 2005 Australia, don't know why! Just looks nice yeh same here always wanted to go there
