Video Editting software for Windows 10

Recommended Posts

Since Windows Movie Maker and DVD Maker have been removed from Windows, I'm having a hell of a time burning video to DVD. Sure Photos lets you create and edit videos, but you can't then burn them to DVD (Not that I can find anyway). I know how to burn to DVD as video, but when I do the created disc doesn't work with my PS4, which is my Blu-ray/DVD player, only on PC... which is crap, cos it would do that even if I saved them as data files!

So basically I'm looking for some recommendations of video editting software, that isn't too expensive, can create transitions (Photos doesn't), DVD menus, burns them to DVD and isn't too expensive.

Suggestions please?

Adobe Premiere Elements is the entry-level Adobe editing software, it'll do all of the things you ask, I'm pretty sure. It's a one-off license fee at £80 or something, rather than the subscription I pay for Premiere Pro which is pricey.

Whilst I haven't used Elements, I use Pro regularly for work. Can't go wrong IMO.
