When...

"The supporters turned on them after the final whistle and boss Levein said: "I can understand the fans' frustration - we seem to take two step forwards and one back."

When, I wonder, does Levein think we took TWO steps forward?

I suppose if he told us the truth "one step forward, two steps back, side side, back then forwards", he'd sound like a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing.

I would love to see him on that who could be his partner (i think DV would step on his toes too much!)

Stop picking holes in everything the guy bloody says. It was a figure of speach for christs sake.

Was a point at derby and a win away from home at watford not a step in the right direction???

I hardly think that anything about this season can be described as 2 steps forward and one back as the net result of that is one step forward. We're not going forward, in my opinion. That's all.

I didn't realise everyone was so touchy today.

I agree. People are very harsh on Levein. We were very good in the 1st half against Burnley but awful in the 2nd half. If we beat Coventry on Sunday, it will be 2 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss in 5 games. That's good.

You're right, if the world of football was based on hypothetical conjecture by biased know-nothings, we might be great.

As it isn't, we're not.

We could quite possibly beat Coventry on Sunday. I think that would be a good result and would show improvement in results. We will see after Sunday's match. I believe we will win.

I believe that if Coventry play badly enough we could win and then everyone could rave about Levein for a bit until we come up against a team who have half a clue again and we'll lose.

Fine. I disagree.

Until CL realise's that Tactics are not them little white mints, we are going nowhere fast.

We didn't have a clue last night.

If we don't score early on at home it's panic stations and all downhill from there

I'm bringing this back to the top as I enjoyed this post when I read it back to myself.

Genius.

I disagree that we were very good. We were the better team undoubtedly but did we ever look like scoring? Did we ever create any chances? No. Having possession and territorial advantage is one thing, using it to score a goal is another.

I understand what you are saying, but we were passing the ball around. The defence was coping easily. We looked a lot more solid. Second half....

I noticed last night that Burnley always, more times than not had two defenders on the "Danger" players that can make things happen, but our marking was not the best last night, something needs to be sorted.
