I hardly think that anything about this season can be described as 2 steps forward and one back as the net result of that is one step forward. We're not going forward, in my opinion. That's all. I didn't realise everyone was so touchy today.

We were very good in the 1st half against Burnley but awful in the 2nd half. If we beat Coventry on Sunday, it will be 2 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss in 5 games. That's good.

As it isn't, we're not. We could quite possibly beat Coventry on Sunday. I think that would be a good result and would show improvement in results. We will see after Sunday's match. I believe we will win.

Did we ever create any chances? No. Having possession and territorial advantage is one thing, using it to score a goal is another.

The defence was coping easily. We looked a lot more solid. Second half....
Bert Posted 19 October 2005 Posted 19 October 2005 I noticed last night that Burnley always, more times than not had two defenders on the "Danger" players that can make things happen, but our marking was not the best last night, something needs to be sorted.
