Premier League worried Brexit will harm league’s global popularity and damage competitive nature

The government doesn't know what Brexit means, they don't know how it will affect the Irish border, they don't know how it will affect our trade, they've agreed to nothing with the EU and the main politicians that wanted it have quit. Over two years and still nothing except uncertainty. The Premier League probably want be assurances like Nisan got about imports and exports. You'd assume the government will give footballers an exception. The Premier League probably just want it in writing.

this is the answer to all of the questions... like crooked multinational tax avoiders, the EPL will be a special case and get away with pretty much ignoring the rules that impact the rest.
