majaco Posted 30 December 2018 Posted 30 December 2018 We need to sign a bit of a experience and leadership. With Morgan out yesterday, Albrighton and Vardy subbed, I think Ndidi was the.most experienced player on the field until Okazaki came on. Gray showed a moment of leadership following Maddison's penalty miss; however, Soyuncu would have benefited from some calm guidance following his first woeful howler. Part of our 2015/16 success was the arrival of experienced players Okazaki and Fuchs. Fuchs' leadership was vital. There was a certain inevitability that Cardiff would score yesterday, the final few minutes looked like the naive bunch versus the know-how 11.
mozartfox Posted 30 December 2018 Posted 30 December 2018 Soyuncu made one mistake yesterday and he was not an 'exclusive' Club. I do not recall him going to pieces following this wayward pass and my stream was excellent?? So I am not sure about this lack of experience theory. It was a very bad performance yesterday. The lack of creativity and potential goal-scoring opportunities, would IMHO, not been resolved by having either of Wes or Fuchs on the pitch. We were tactically un-done yesterday combined with possibly (with the benefit of hindsight) a bad team selection.
majaco Posted 30 December 2018 Author Posted 30 December 2018 I like Soyuncu; I was with family members who don't. For this reason, I was focused on him from behind the goal. His confidence went and I ran out of being able to defend him.
Finn Claw II Posted 30 December 2018 Posted 30 December 2018 Maybe in the summer, Simpson, Fuchs, Iborra, Silva, King and Okazaki are all likely to leave. i reckon Morgan will be around but a striker with a bit of experience would be no bad thIng.

He's a bit restricted to his half of the pitch or can come out when there's a long stoppage in play. Mendy comes across as a quiet man and I can't see him taking the ball by the horns a talk to people. But that's okay as some people are like that. I do agree we needed some experience on the pitch. Bringing on Iborra would have helped. He's an organiser and would have marshalled things a little better in the middle. But we move on and today is a crucial game. Let's hope not just Puel, but the players as well get it right.
majaco Posted 1 January 2019 Author Posted 1 January 2019 Evans made a difference today. Simpson solidifies the team. Hamza adds a bit of charisma.
fuchsntf Posted 2 January 2019 Posted 2 January 2019 I've got both those qualifications..? Problem is I can't play football, > I used to play< and I would make too many divets, with either my crutches or wheelchair.... But I promise to improve in this year 2019....... Do I get the job.....please..
