Hendrie on Short loan

....and he should be back there

You make me laugh, he can't even get in the Villa first team, I think the chances of him getting in the england squad are remote at the moment. But who knows, Sven has been known to bring the odd muppet in the team....Peter Crouch, Chris Powell!! lollol:thumbup:

Exactly why not - take him as second choice keeper ahead of James the joker!

he'd be an excellent loan signing for leicester. Woudl provide that creativity in midfield and wil show the rest of our players how to shoot. His technique is great and as someone pointed out, with us being one of the local clubs it woudl work in our favour. I think Williams time is numbered anyway so why not try something else.

I would be v impressed should we get him here though..

Good Point..Hendrie as second choice keeper it is then!!!

Just to at to the post, I agree with everyone, i think he could be excellent for city, and add more of a goal threat to our goal shy midfield. He's not getting much of a game at villa at the moment, he may be tempted!!!!

whats the chances levein will go for him though? probably zilch i reckon ...

Apparently, CL doesn't like loan signings, so the possibility of Hendrie on loan are slim!!!!

I thought you were going to be more positive! I have reservations about it but Hendrie's a good player whose presence might add a bit more to the growing buzz around the camp and those few extra goals might help the cause cos we're not getting any from midfield just now.

It's your reference to the play-offs which is negative. You should be right of course. Our chance should have long gone. But in fact we are only a few points below sixth place with an improving side.

I cannot believe Hume and Smith won't start making or scoring a few goals soon and that would be a bonus alongside anything we get by way of a striker in January. I don't make any predictions but it is not as if we need something startling to make forward strides in this League.

You've been a fan a long time, that's obvious, but surely there not ALL of the optimism has been pounded out of you by City's prolonged spell of underperformance over recent seasons.

Come on Babylon....smile and cheer!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I've had a bad day ha ha. That usually reflects in my posts!!!!!!

He would have fitted in so well when Taggart and Co. were at the club. ;)

I might nip out and have a beer or two and listen to the gossip over here in Solihullfox land infact if I bump into the right person I may get the lowdown from the horses mouth, so to speak.

He would help us i think. He would also want to play well just for the sake of his own career. I doubt he would come to us if there are Premiership clubs around but if he did, it would be a decent asset to have.

not worth it in my opinion

1. we would never get him on a permanent basis so it just delays the process of creating stable side for the long term

2. wages, i'm sure we'd have to pay something for him which would just be a waste of cash considering it won't lead to a permanet deal, and he won't single handed get us promotion.
