I’ve been wondering if there is some way we can show our support to the team before the final. In previous Wembley trips our support was notorious for the thousands upon thousands of balloons and tikka tape welcome we gave the boys as they came out the tunnel.

However with only 6250 of the Blue Army that’s not going to happen, will we be even allowed balloons? I doubt it. So it got me thinking, is there some way we could show our support here in Leicester to remind the lads we’re right behind them, that we’ll be watching however we can, give them that awareness what it means to the city and county.

Would it be possible to tie balloons and flags, bed sheets with messages on on the railings outside the ground and up the road, messages on motorway bridges (are they’re travelling down by coach), anything to make a connection to the team, to maybe give them extra boost. All while remaining within COVID guidelines of course.

Maybe UFS could put an inspirational banner somewhere where it will be seen, outside the training ground maybe???

It might be a daft idea but I just thought it would be nice, and maybe give them that extra bit of motivation if they get a reminder of what it means outside their own bubble.

Hire a plane with a banner with a flag attached to it saying "Win it for Vichai', just before kick-off.

Hanging stuff from M1 motorway bridges?

Should find out their travel plans to / from and in London. Bus or plane? Could be a blast for them and you.

Ahhhhh the good old days. Its just not the same these days is it?

We didn't even need social media or forums to arrange it, people just did it.

I remember all of the bridges draped in banners and flags, good times.

To be fair had things been normal, and going on what it was like when we won the league it probably would have been the same, however unfortunately this year has been far from normal. Your right though about the banners and crowds on the motorway bridges which was awesome, and the drive down Narborough Road on the way home, before driving round the ground papping our hooter. Felt like a victorious (Blue) army returning home.
