Too hard them having separate threads. But my god they have been awful. Tried to sabotage all of Patson’s efforts today as well.

 

Why on earth did we think signing crap Southampton players was a good idea? One as mistake I can forgive but the idea of signing two starting defenders from a defence which has been notoriously appalling is bizarre

They were signed as back up. Having to call on them so quickly has exposed them a bit.

 

I wonder if Vestergaard is unfit or something. He looks particularly out of sorts.

 

Hard for anyone to come on in that game in those conditions and boss it.  Hamza C hardly set the world on fire, either.

 

I think we need to give them more time to bed in, accept their limitations and limit damage where we absolutely *have* to play them.

We’ve won away in Moscow, Daka has scored 4, Soumare has bossed it and you want to have a go at a couple of back up players.
