Brendan Rodgers believes an emphatic home crowd can help Leicester City lay the foundations for further progression in Thursday's UEFA Europa Conference League Quarter-Final first leg tie against Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven.

 

Filbert Way will be packed out on Thursday for the visit of PSV and Rodgers hopes the Blue Army can generate the kind of atmosphere which now defines the memory of other European occasions on home soil from years gone by.

"We don’t have a rich history in European football, so to be in a quarter-final of any European competition is a real occasion," the 49-year-old explained. "The supporters are brilliant here so they’ll be behind the team, creating a really special atmosphere – and we’ll need that.

Been stonewalled on the request to buy any returns. In spite of my attendance in Moscow. 

 

Baffling from the club really. I'm not asking for preference or favour, just to buy the tickets of anyone that can't attend. 

 

Made the point I'll be there anyway and happy to pick up any loose ends. No. None released even in the event of no show.

...probably not looking to encourage people to be down there without a ticket!!!

What is the likelihood of someone at the ground selling tickets, it seems like a great chance to make money.
