Someone has literally posted an article to prove there's more demand for leicester games than the vast majority of other clubs, and there's  huge waiting line for season tickets, but no, @K1FOX knows the stadium is going to 75% full because there's a cardboard clapper on seats.

The STH take up will be there. It’s the rest when the novelty goes away. For someone who acts like he knows it all you do come up with rather childish takes.

And for someone who clearly doesn't like to believe facts and evidence put in front of him you have an incredible amount of certainty on what the future looks like based on your view of the world.

Do we think it will be a sellout?

Probably?? Huge problem is the Family Stand restrictions. The game is on a school night and starts at 8pm, meaning kids won't get to bed until nearly midnight. Add in the fact it's on BT sports. The are always holes in that bit of the stadium on European nights this season.

Called an opinion mate. Why are you so offended by me stating we will struggle to sell out 40k? If anything I have evidence by the fact we have struggled to sell 32k this season and you’re the one with the ‘incredible amount of certainty on what the future looks like’.

Stop being so offended on behalf of Leicester City Football Club. Your likes won’t suffer don’t worry.

We struggle to sell out because we are maxed out at 23k season ticket holders many of which are paying 21.80 a game when you have to pu the rest on sale and insist on trying to charge nearly twice that of course its not affordable to many, I can take my family for 60 quid a match but when you start charging 38 plus for 1 adult it's not viable for many. If we can add 8k and it allows us to sell another 4 to 6k of season rickets then I think they will sell. Plus the clubs other major problem is the family stand season ticket holders will 1 day hit 18 and have to move out. Have to offer them seats somewhere.

I agree with that. No disputing times are hard and prices are steep. Only thing is the expansion only means prices will be even higher

I sit in SK1 so can’t get onto the concourse at SK4, are there any divides in the Kop that would stop me from walking over?

Turns out I’m in SK4, you get the point lol

Leicester City fans fume over PSV Eindhoven fiasco as club forced to take action
A promotional offer saw tickets go on sale at half price, but the club had to close the scheme when the code to access the discounted seats leaked online, prompting anger

Leicester City were forced to shut down a ticket offer after a promotional code leaked and prompted anger from loyal supporters.

As part of a deal with an affiliate partner, Cool as Leicester, City were selling half-price tickets to next week’s Europa Conference League quarter-final first leg against PSV Eindhoven. While the offer was exclusively for Cool as Leicester members, the promotional code needed to access it spread online, with other supporters taking advantage.

When the club realised there had been a leak, the promotion was closed. It’s understood fewer than 200 tickets were sold at half price. However, awareness of the offer has led to anger among supporters who bought their seats for the game before they were able to take up such a promotion.

The majority of adult season-ticket holders had to pay £25 for their seat for the PSV clash, with prices rising from the previous two rounds. The knockout round play-off home leg against Danish Cup winners Randers cost season-ticket holders £10 for entry, while the round of 16 game against Rennes was priced at £15.

The argument from many supporters was that the most loyal fans, those that buy tickets for every match and do so as soon as they go on sale, were being taken advantage of, while more casual match-goers were able to attend a big game at a discounted price.

One fan wrote online: "This time the club have well and truly messed up. I hope the PR team are working overtime because this issue isn't going away. Offering half-price tickets to a privileged set of people with no affinity to the club over loyal supporters is utterly shameless."

Another said: "Fifty per cent code for PSV tickets now? Punished for being a loyal fan and buying my ticket early. Bit of a shambles really."

This is not the first match that City have run promotional offers on tickets with affiliate partners, but appears to be the first time the code has been leaked. Cool as Leicester, who promote events in Leicester and local businesses to more than 60,000 followers across social media platforms, are one such partner.

They have a limited number of Black Card holders, who pay £20 for annual membership that allows them to receive discounts at a number of venues and restaurants around the city, as well as flash offers for events such as next week’s tie against PSV.

With general sale tickets costing £30 minimum, the half-price offer saved Cool as Leicester members at least £15. The promotion opened on Sunday, when the tickets were first on general sale, but after the code leaked, the offer was shut down by mid-afternoon on Monday.

Tickets for the game, which is only the second European quarter-final in City’s history, remain on general sale. The second leg, in Eindhoven, takes place the following Thursday, April 14, with City hoping to earn a semi-final against Roma or Bodo/Glimt.

This article missed the opportunity to make this indefensible with the fact that these discounted tickets were available to these black card holders 6 at a time and completely goes against any old flannel that this was an outreach or partnering scheme. It's a complete shit show from whoever granted this and uncomfortable questions need to be asked of them by cutting off the usual get out answers they'll give around integral commercial and community partnering.

If the club do indeed read this forum as has been suggested, I am surprised there has been no statement from the club, still, given the outrage in this thread.

You’d think based on some of the comments, and the reactions to said comments, it would have prompted them to address the matter. Sad really

They really are brain dead. Given the issues we've had with Euro fixtures this season and fan behaviour, you'd think these untrained monkeys would have a tight reign on who got sold tickets in the home areas. Napoli fans attacking the family stand, flares being let off and numerous Spartak & Legia fans lobbed out of home areas despite stewards knowing where they were pre-kick off. And here's the ticket office just handing out tickets to anyone.

PR is a zero sum game. The Leicester city PR team have plummeted where as the 'cool as Leicester' PR team.... Well!

That’s not the issue, the game is on general sale so ‘anyone’ can buy tickets anyway, and buy them far easier than going through a Leicester subscription service. Infact there’s been multiple complaints on this forum about games not going to general sale. The problem is this lot get them half price whereas we don’t
