Jeez, he’s played very well, but he’s not held this team together.

Truth is this season we’ve had a top 6 attack and a bottom 6 defence. Our ability to goals are the only reason we’re sat in the top half right now and Maddison has been the main driver behind that

....he supports the defence and he supports the attacks, if we have to continually look to shore up the defence then you can't go forward!!!

For me he has been the one person who has linked this team together.

I’m not getting into a lengthy debate but Ill just say I disagree, he’s an excellent work horse and ball winning midfielder who is pretty good at recycling the ball a lot like Ndidi, but I don’t really see him as a link-player, I can’t see his vision ever really getting him into that position, I think we really need someone else in that linking position if Tielemans is going.

The argument works both ways mate, unless you're assuming any other of our players could be scoring and assisting like Maddison has.

KDH, what a guy. He's got such a great future ahead of him, hopefully in a Leicester shirt.

KDH pushing the virtue of hard work on the radio. His ethic has certainly rubbed off on Maddison. Talent gets you so far but the need to put in a full shift of effort and concentration will take you to the top.

people need to understand that a player like maddison will always go through bad patches of form. We all called for him to be dropped and rightfully so but brendan kept the faith and eventually got him back on track. 

 

We might not have him at the club now if brendan had given up on him the way this forum did. One thing that we can look back on and say he got right
