Spot on mate.

Vardy often doesn’t get the credit he deserves, has he lost a yard of pace? Yes

Does he still strike fear in even the best CB’s in the league? 100%

When we have someone one on one with a keeper, we’d all hope it’s Vardy - surely our GOAT.

The most impressive thing for me is how he’s developed his game to be way less reliant on his pace this season. I remember very few goals where he’s outpaced the defence to score this season. He’s been scoring far more through his insane movement and finding half a yard of space in the box

Not quite sure how Tielemans goal v Brentford didn't win GOTS but never mind, same player won I suppose. Maddison is our best player by an absolute mile. Only player on our team who can take the ball on the half turn, spray a pass, hit a 30 yarder he's improved no end this year and if we are not careful and get him tied down there will be suitors.

Just looked at the previous player of the seasons and spotted this absolute gem of an outfit from Danny Tiatto, what a tie

The clubs come a long way from a dodgy power point displays and awards that looked like they were nicked out of the Barlestone St Giles u12s managers boot

Mind you I was a young bloke in the 70s  I can remember my Dad's comments about the platform shoes I thought were the best thing ever.

Great that Maddison seems to be back to full fitness and producing the form we need

Out of interest has anyone got a list of the young player of the year over the last 10 years.

Just wondered how they've all got on .

Not sure about the academy award, but most of the previous development player of the year winners have gone on to join the first team. Chilwell, Choudhury, Barnes, KDH and Thomas.

The only recent exception is Flynn, but he got a really bad injury which set him back.

I think he meant of the POTS award rather than literally.

What really?

I suppose I should realise that sarcasm doesn’t always translate well in the written word ;)

I think all but Marshall, who allegedly had big drinking problems, have gone on to have a decent career tbf.

I’m sure if you start going before 2008-09 you’d be seeing some winners who really fell into obscurity though.

Ben Marshall took a nosedive pretty quick.

Likes a drink (or so I’ve heard)

Shame, he had a cool song

Maddison has been great since at least November if not earlier, way more than just a strong end to the season. He’s was nominated for PL POTM back in December. His poor first couple of months while still coming back from injury gets massively overplayed. KDH didn’t even start a league game until December.

.....probably so, but what a difference he has made!!!

Maddison has had his most productive season with us. For all KDHs endeavour, Maddison's talent has been decisive more often than not this season. They're our standout players this season for sure.

....KDH is the platform Maddison works from, if he is not holding this team together, then Maddison has no opportunity to play!!!

Didn't he stick a middle finger up to own supporters after some game?

Preferred it when we sang it without his name at the end, as soon as he left the song went.

We could add a “Leicester” if we wanted something at the end.
