For me, he looked far more suitable for this system and we’ve not got through a game without cb mistakes (except when Thomas decided to be maldini for a week)  so I still think he’s an option for us.

He does feel like the best cb for this system I would say. 😊

If they're all going to be shit then at least give Kangasniemi a chance.

 

People blame the system for putting our centre backs under too much pressure but some of the passes from Souttar, O'Hara and Faes have been completely amateur.

I personally think there’s an obvious difference between the faes ones and the souttar ones.   Faes mostly looks comfortable where as souttar looked like a deer in headlights. 
 

I might have missed something, but from what I remember the faes mistakes were all when we were chasing the game and he was being more risky trying to race us up the pitch. Which… is a little more understandable

Any culture reset is instantly put back a season by this clown's inclusion.

 

I don't really care if he wasn't the one at fault for their goal either, ultimately our defence didn't improve with him in it like a few here were doing mental gymnastics to suggest. We've still thrown away two points against ten man Barnsley. In League One. While opening Pandora's box and offering an olive leaf to one of the poster children of our terrible culture and downfall.

 

We did this last season with Winks, of course. We never learn. And with Martin already on VERY thin ice with much of the fanbase, the decision to include him was idiotic with other less toxic options available.

If he was playing the ball behind the opposition into dangerous areas and losing it that way it would be understandable.

 

His biggest mistake was when he ran into opposition then did a silly no look sideways pass that almost resulted in their second.

 

If it would have come off it wouldn't have created a chance as Thomas wasnt in a dangerous position, it was just routine recycling of the ball that Faes made much more difficult than necessary.

 

Got rinsed by Kelly as well for another good chance.

 

Horrible player and cannot start for us again.

From what I seen yesterday Faes looked like someone who wanted to play and battle, whilst Souttar looks like he can't be bothered. Defo not captain material or someone we want leading the team. Going forward we may see less of Souttar and see him leaving Leicester in january. Better Faes plays for Leicester the more clubs that'll become interested in him.
