You do not have to lump balls forward in order to change the style of play to suit the players available to you. Take the Forest game at the start of the season, our performance was up-tempo, front footed and the players more importantly had taken on board the way they had been asked to play. We have reverted to a possession-based style of play, it does not work for us.

 I would believe that every team turns up knowing exactly how they intend to play, it will be down to the opposition to determine if they are going to allow you to carry out your plan. I would suspect by Wednesday every manager has devised how they will play in their upcoming game and would have structured training to incorporate certain things which they believe will them an advantage.

Can we show some appreciation for him now? He flew down and made things happen in this transfer window. He does not want us to go down and still maintains his loyalty and vision for the club to succeed. We can leave the babble about his support for Rogers for another day. Right now we’re in a dire emergency and it’s all hands on deck. Time for us fans to up the ante with supporting the team too.

He's definitely eased a couple of fears but I still think we need at least another in in this window and I do still fear he's falling for the Rodgers facade, but it's improved a bit.
