That message from Top has wound me right up! 

 

Calling for the fans to get behind the team and mentioning the squad need improvements? We're the ones that have been watching/going week in week out whilst he's been jetting around the world checking the score on his phone every now and again. We KNOW the team need investment. 

 

He doesn't get to show up for the first time in months and demand we get behind the team. We've been behind the team regardless of his under investment in it and we know we've been dross all season regardless of a little 6 game purple patch.

Top's made it obvious that Rodgers is his man and he's not going anywhere, so I'm surprised fans are getting irate at his programme notes. Rodgers is here to stay and we are expected to shut up and put up.

A few heavies in the directors box and surrounds - not seen that for a good few years 

 

before the game as the players names were read out, the directors all stood clapping - this is not normal (it looked like the CCP congress)
