Once again Top's in town and it ends up being not quite as shit as the others. We truly cannot flush Rodgers whatever we do.

Knowledge of?

I think that’s the biggest issue we have z currently. Not enough good football knowledge at board level or advising the board

He knows what is going on within the club far more than we do, or are we now going to even dispute that too?

Do not disagree with the lack of footballing knowledge across the management team though

I question whether Top knows what’s going on at LCFC is comparable to other clubs because as we both know the ‘inner circle’ at the top; there’s a single figure whose been part of the furniture for 30 years as the only acumen in the game. That’s kind of my point. Of course he knows the ins and outs of what’s happened at LCFC but is it appropriate for a club with aspirations of top ten finishes in the top flight?

From the outsider looking in, there’s no excuse why we didn’t sign Kristansen on 1st January.

Not disagreeing, and perhaps I am too hesitant, the bit in bold always gives me pause, as that’s what we always are I guess, so we just don’t know

Yet, it’s a forum, speculation and outrage are the life blood, I do get that

If you aren't going to bother sacking this poison dwarf then don't bother coming over

The outsider looking in I agree.

People don’t understand what happens in football clubs. It’s why I’m not too critical of the situation with Soyuncu. Something has happened there and sometimes it could be personal (as a lot learned when Pearson both took Gallacher/Knockaert out of the picture to much criticism but then found it was horrible circumstances what Pearson gave them leave for).

Unfortunately at LCFC, it’s the repeated mistakes and things such as a pattern where our better spells were assisted by likes of Steve Walsh and Eduardo Macia. Really well respected blokes in their roles. The writing was on the wall with Congerton.

Im waffling now

Top comes from a position of knowledge not hyperbole, I will go with Top. :scarf:

Almost everything he says in that statement is conjecture, aside from saying we'll be adding players, which surely no one is disputing.

Hes not wrong though tbf is he, take Maddison and Tielemans out of that side and its a Championship team full of over the hill has beens and players no way near up to the standard

And it’s likely Tielemans and Maddison will be gone by June anyway, leaving us with an unmotivated, championship level squad on high premiership wages. The prospect is horrendous.

Maybe he’s staying to negotiate Brendan’s move to Everton here is hoping!

One signing in. Halt clubs losing streak. Restore faith in Rodgers.

why do we really need an average player back?

I’d take average players right now over some of the dross we have been watching recently.

Average means mid table so I’d take that right now…
